Town of Roxbury

Roxbury is a town in the Western Mountains of Oxford County, Maine, United States.

The population was 369 at the 2010 census. However, there are many more visitors to the area for all of the recreational seasons that Roxbury has to offer.  Ellis Pond or "Roxbury Pond" popular with recreational fishermen and boaters.  The Roxbury ATV Riders Club is popular among the ATV riders and is well known for the many group rides they organize.  The Slippery Sliders Snowmobile Club are recognized for their attention and upkeep of the snowmobile trails during the winter riding months.

The Silver Lake Camp Owners Associationis another organization within Roxbury that focuses on the health and upkeep of our lake, with the goal of preserving it for many years to come.
